It's cherry blossom time and every photographer in the area and a lot from slightly further afield are congregating in Baselland.
All of the fruit trees are in blossom, we also have wonderfully warm spring weather, the fields are green and the skies are clear.
Although time is a little tight, I didn't want to be left out, so on Sunday morning, I headed out to the hills.
My problem, well not really a problem, but I was more fascinated by the light and shadow from the rising sun, than with the blossoms on the trees, as you can see from the title image, and didn't spend that much time with the blossom.
I still managed to get a couple of macro shots of the blossoms.
